Wendell Middle School is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Half-Time Special Education Case Manager to join our team. This position primarily focuses on writing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and supporting the testing process for students with special needs. While the role is remote, occasional travel to the school for meetings and assessments may be required. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in special education, experience in managing IEPs, and an understanding of testing accommodations.

Wendell School District is seeking to hire a GEAR UP Coordinator for the 2025-26 school year.  This person is responsible for implementing and managing the Gaining Early Awareness and Readiness for Undergraduate Programs (GEAR UP) grant, focusing on preparing students for college and careers. They coordinate academic and enrichment activities, including workshops, college visits, tutoring, and mentoring, while providing guidance to students and families to support college readiness. The role involves collaborating with school staff, community partners, and higher education institutions, as well as organizing professional development for educators. Key responsibilities include program administration, data collection, compliance reporting, and fostering family engagement. Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree (master’s preferred), experience in education or program management, strong organizational and communication skills, and the ability to work flexible hours.
